Local Local Tours: Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the tours and services provided by Local Local Tours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
I. General Terms and Bookings

Booking and Payment: We require the tour to be booked and paid for in its entirety before the tours commence. Full payment is generally required at the time of booking.

Pricing and Inclusions: All tours are priced per person unless otherwise stated. Prices listed include all items specified in the individual tour inventory.

Exclusions: Prices generally do not include tips, gratuities, items of a personal nature, baggage, or personal insurance, nor do they cover any snacks, drinks, or other food items not explicitly included in the itinerary. The rate for customized tours does not include any costs for transportation, food, or attraction fees.
II. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by Guest: If a customer cancels a reservation, Local Local Tours must receive written notice of said cancellation via email at locallocaltours@gmail.com,. Refunds will be processed as follows:

Cancellations 24 hours (or more) before tour date: 100% refund.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before start of tour: no refund.

Ticketing/Service Fees: Please note that any service fee paid to the booking platform or ticketing fee is non-refundable.

Late Arrivals and No-Shows: Guests who do not show up for their tour will not be refunded. We have a 5 minute wait time at our start point. No refund will be issued for no-shows or late arrivals. Guides will do their best to arrange an alternative meeting point later in the tour should you be delayed, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Tour Operation and Weather: Our walking tours go on rain or shine, as rainfall is almost an everyday phenomenon in Singapore,. If it is not raining heavily and we feel the conditions are safe, the tour will continue as planned, keeping everyone in sheltered areas where possible.

Cancellation by Local Local Tours: In instances of heavy thundery showers where the tour absolutely has to be cancelled due to safety concerns, you will be offered the option of a full refund or a reschedule.
III. Tour Amendments and Itinerary

Itinerary Changes: Local Local Tours reserves the right to change, adapt, amend, or update any part of the itinerary at any time and for any reason without prior notice,. This includes the route, any stops, food or drink experiences, and methods of transport.

Food Substitutions: We do not guarantee every food item listed in the inclusions due to venue closure or unforeseen events. If an item is not available, every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative.
IV. Guest Requirements and Responsibilities

Physical Fitness: Our walks are designed to be done at an easy pace, incorporating air-conditioned stops and rest stops, and may use Singapore’s excellent public transportation system. It is the guest’s sole responsibility to decide whether they and everyone in their party are physically able to participate in the tour. You must let us know if you have a physical limitation that we should be aware of so we can ensure you enjoy the program.

Dietary Restrictions and Allergies: Singapore cuisine is the result of fascinating culture fusion, and there is usually something for everyone. We require that you advise us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, likes, and dislikes before the tour so we can plan accordingly. Safety of our customers is our first priority, so if you have any allergies, please contact us before booking.

Food Risk Acceptance: While we endeavor to take into account any dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee or be held responsible for any food or drink consumed before, during, or after a tour,. All guests who suffer from allergies accept this risk as their own.

Age Requirements: All guests must be over the age of 18 or accompanied by a legal guardian who is over the age of 18. Children under 6 who will not be eating can come along free of charge on our food tours, provided you make a note when booking. Carriers are preferred over strollers, particularly in local markets which may not have room for them.

Conduct: Guests are responsible for their own conduct and the actions of their party. Local Local Tours reserves the right to refuse entry or continuation of your tour to anyone who is deemed a danger, nuisance, or who doesn’t comply with local laws or customs.

Documentation: All guests must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity left upon departure from the destination. Possession of the correct visa and documentation is solely the responsibility of the guests.
V. Waiver of Liability and Risk Acceptance

Waiver of Liability: I acknowledge that Local Local Tours acts solely as a tour operator and does not own or operate any entity which provides goods and services for the tour. As a result, Local Local Tours is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of such third person, or of any other third party.

Assumption of Risk: By booking a tour, I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in the tour with knowledge of the risks and dangers involved, including but not limited to:

Negligence in the conduct or arrangement of this trip in any respect;

Physical exertion for which I am not prepared;

Forces of nature;
-
Transportation failures (by car, boat, by foot, or by any other conveyance);

Risks associated with food or impure water;
-
Accident or illness without access to rapid evacuation or medical supplies;

Damaged, stolen, lost, or misplaced luggage or property.

Guest Responsibility: By booking a tour, I hereby agree to be responsible for my own welfare and properties and waive all claims of liability against Local Local Tours arising from my participation in the tour.

Travel Insurance: It is a mandatory requirement for all guests to have adequate travel and medical insurance for the duration of their trip, including covering any and all activities undertaken on a Local Local Tours tour. Local Local Tours is not responsible for any liability, expenses, or loss resulting from inadequate travel and medical insurance coverage. Local Local Tours and our affiliates shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, liability, or expense to guests or their property at any time for any reason.
VI. Photography and Marketing Consent
Photography and videography may be carried out during our tours. By attending this event, you consent to the use of your photograph, voice, likeness, and image to be used in publicity materials, websites, and social media of Local Local Tours,. Local Local Tours will have a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license and ownership to all material for promotional and publicity use.
VII. Complaints
If you have a complaint or issue, we ask that you first speak with your tour guide to see if it can be rectified. If you wish to lodge a complaint before or after the tour, please contact Local Local Tours in writing to locallocaltours@gmail.com within 30 days of the tour date,. Complaints received after 30 days will not be taken into consideration.
